BBC London
Our visit to BBC started with talking about the history of the company. Nick Davey guided us through out the tour. Who is Nick Davey? He works in motion graphics in news. He started working for BBC in 1994 in graphics. And he explained the reason for doing motion graphics. It's for the segments that you can't do any other way. And he uses after effects. We watched a show reel of Nick.
We had a surprise session with Welsh journalist and newsreader Huw Edwards. We were asked which path to go in our future and where we desire to be? It was a very fun and interesting session. I believe that he is such an inspirational person.
Our next stop was BBC evening news studio. We were told the process of getting the presenter ready and live news. I was so amazed by the cameras and dollies. We got a chance to sit down around the news table and get our pictures taken.
